I started doing Bikram Yoga randomly. Never doing yoga of any kind before, I saw a sign one day advertising Bikram Yoga covered in flames. The sign looked awesome and I thought yoga might help my knee. I had recently torn my ACL and meniscus snowboarding.

So, I grabbed a schedule and an hour later I was in my first class, thinking “WOW this is hardcore and I love it.” I have always been up for a struggle.
Six weeks later, I filled out my application for teacher training. I went to training beginning 2009 and my knee and I have never been better.  Thinking that I was only going to get physical benefits you can imagine my amazement when I became more calm, my self  esteam much higher, and all around I feel much better about myself.
Bikram yoga has a way of changing people without having to put much thought into it. You just have to get off the couch and do the yoga, the rest will follow, the bad habits just seem to melt away. You achieve balance in your mind and body, simple as that.  So to say the least, I have found my dream job, helping others take their steps on this yogic path.
